Yanmar to commercialize maritime hydrogen fuel cell system

Japanese marine equipment manufacturer #Yanmar Power Technology Co., Ltd. announced that has successfully commercialized a maritime hydrogen fuel cell system towards decarbonization of the maritime industry. Yanmar said it would take orders from 1 August for the 300kW customisable maritime #hydrogen fuel cell.The unit weighs 3,000 kg.
The company plans to propose the installation of this system into various ships, including passenger ships, work ships, and cargo ships operating in coastal areas where hydrogen refueling is relatively accessible.
