World’s first hydrogen ethanol station announced in Brazil 

Green hydrogen station will be able to supply three buses and a Toyota Mirai that will circulate through local university area  in Brazil São Paulo.

The R&D Ethanol to H2 project was officially announced, which will create a pilot plant to house the world’s first renewable hydrogen fueling station based on ethanol, located in Cidade Universitária, in São Paulo ( SP).

The hydrogen station is the result of a research project developed by Poli’s Research Center for Innovation in Greenhouse Gases (RCGI), in partnership with Shell Brasil, Raízen, Hytron, Senai Cetiqt and Toyota. The project has no commercial objectives and brings together investments in excess of R$ 182 million.
