California’s Lone Cypress Energy Services’ blue hydrogen production facility is one step closer to realisation, with the company having announced the completion of the front-end engineering and design (FEED) study, the GazWorld reported on 16 August.
Carried out by Lone Cypress, the study looked at the feasibility of a 65 metric tonnes per day steam methane reformation plant with an integrated post combustion carbon capture system, hydrogen liquefaction, storage, dispensing, and all associated plant infrastructure.
