Norway and Germany to set up a joint task force to work on their plans to transport hydrogen between the two countries

Norway and Germany have  agreed to set up a joint Task Force to follow up the results of an ongoing joint feasibility study, which is looking into possibilities to transport hydrogen and CO2 between Germany and Norway. The industry-led joint feasibility study explores the technical and economic feasibility of large-scale hydrogen supply solutions, in particular through a large-scale pipeline. In a second part the study also includes solutions for CO2 transport from Norway to Germany. The feasibility study is undertaken by Gassco and dena (Deutsche Energie-Agentur) on behalf of the industry, and includes a large number of industrial partners.
