SIAD MI designed 4 hydrogencompressors for a biorefinery in Venice

Three hydrogencompressors (model HPS2-1) with horizontal balanced opposed cylinders, powered by a 450 kW electric motor. One hydrogencompressor (model WS1-1) with vertical cylinder, powered by a 45 kW electric motor.

Compressors be delivered to an important Italian Customer and installed in a biorefinery  in Venice to implement the hydrogen production line.

All the compressors and process coolers will be cooled by a common water console with special titanium plate using sea water. The project’s main objective is to increase the availability of hydrogen of the biorefinery significantly reducing the emission of fossil CO2 into the atmosphere.
