Eurowind Energy acquires the HyBalance hydrogen plant

Eurowind Energy has acquired the HyBalance hydrogen plant, Jyllandsvej 25, 9500 Hobro, Denmark, from Air Liquide, the company said.

The HyBalance hydrogen plant is a PEM (Polymer Electrolyte Membrane) unit and can produce more than 500 kg of pure hydrogen per day.

The production unit is fully equipped with a 1.25 MW PEM electrolyser, a hydrogen compression unit, storage facilities, and filling facilities for both tube trailers and smaller transport cylinders.

“At Eurowind Energy, we are proud to continue the local commitment to the HyBalance project. The project, as well as the location, is a perfect point of departure for us to develop our engagement in the PtX industry even further, and realize our mission to become a power major,” said Jens Rasmussen, CEO, Eurowind Energy.
