CHART announced it has prepared the industry’s first hydrogen 10,000-pound  payload trailer for shipment

We have liquid hydrogen cryogenic trailers available to ship before the end of the year. Our trailers have a 10,000-pound payload and not only provide our customers with best-in-class safety and performance in the industry but will improve efficiency and logistics in our customer’s delivery operations, the company said.

Chart has developed the industry’s first 10,000-pound payload ST18600H trailer to improve efficiency and logistics in  delivery operations, helping to meet the increasing demand for LH2. In times of driver shortages, this trailer with the largest payload in the industry meets US DOT requirements and is California-bridge law compliant when paired with an appropriate tractor – including alternative fuel tractors utilizing the 82,000- lb GVWR exception.
