Dutch company Holthausen Clean Technology will manufacture and ship a number of hydrogen fuel cell trucks for Maserfrakt Sweden, Carl Holthausen, technical officer of the company, said on his LinkedIn:
«This 6×2 hydrogen truck will be provided with an orange wrap so that it can soon leave to our customer Maserfrakt Sweden. We will drive this hydrogen fuel cell truck under our own power to the customer Maserfrakt. So just drive there. (crossing by ferry boat of course) this hydrogen truck is equipped with 50 kilos of hydrogen.
Later this year we will deliver another big hydrogen truck with 100 kilos of hydrogen for an extra long range and another hydrogen garbage truck. The plan is to refuel with hydrogen in Hamburg Germany and Gothenburg Sweden. and then deliver in Borlänge, Sweden. By bringing it there while driving, we immediately want to make a statement that long-distance driving is possible with hydrogen, which is what hydrogen is intended for.The last photo is the truck that is still under construction and has 100 kilos of hydrogen on board. The truck will drive in Artic conditions”.
