Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Symbio Sign MOU on Joint Development of Fuel Cell Systems

Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Kawasaki) and Symbio concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the joint development of fuel cell systems for mobilities including construction machinery. 

Through this MOU, Kawasaki and Symbio aim to integrate and leverage Kawasaki’s network in construction machinery and its development & manufacturing experience for high-pressure hydrogen gas valves with Symbio’s expertise in fuel cell technology for automobiles. Both companies will explore the application of fuel cell systems to mobilities, including construction machinery solutions planned by potential customers. The extensive experience and technology of both leverage to further advance the development of more efficient low-carbon fuel cell systems.
