The hydrogen generator-powered vessel, named ALBA, is being built for France’s Lycée Maritime Bastia. Julien Cometto, deputy headmaster at Lycée Maritime de Bastia reported on his LinkedIn:
“The REXH2s (EODev’s hydrogen generators) are already in their compartments and very soon the tanks will be integrated on board.A schedule that was well managed by the consortium, and another step towards the launch of the Lycée Maritime Bastia’s zero-emission training vessel.
Construction monitoring, progress meeting on 7 March :
– installation of ramps
– installation of deck equipment: cranes, winches, line and net winches, bollards, etc.
– wiring and electrical panels
– fitting the gunwales in the wheelhouse
– equipment integration, etc.
Construction of the MAURIC, CHANTIER NAVAL GATTO, EODev, Alternatives Energies.
