KEYOU announced that HyCET project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr), has reached an important milestone. Recently, the so-called “marriage” of Volvo’s 40-ton truck with the 13l zero emission hydrogen engine jointly developed by KEYOU and Volvo Group finally happened.
Together with consortium partners BMW Group, Volvo Group, DEUTZ AG, DHL and TotalEnergies KEYOU is working on the development of a 40-ton truck with zero-emission hydrogen engine. The project aims to demonstrate the sustainability potential of trucks with hydrogen combustion engines in transport logistics.
