Universal Hydrogen reveals its custom e-Turbo-Compressor, made in partnership with R&D Dynamics, which is designed to operate fuel cell 2MW powertrain at altitudes up to 25,000 ft.
“We have integrated onto a test rig, which will enable us to validate the control interfaces and to demonstrate our in-house active fuel cell humidifier concept, which will be smaller and lighter than current off the shelf humidifiers”, the Universal Hydrogen reported.
At full power, the e-Turbo-Compressor will flow more air than 6 sports cars combined, the company stated.
