Smoltek’s cell material for hydrogen electrolysis has passed durability test

Smoltek has successfully completed a durability test (1,000 hours) of its newly developed material for PEM electrolyzer cells, the company said. “In the test, we have produced hydrogen with a catalyst load of only 0.2 milligrams of iridium per square centimeter, without any breakdown of the nanostructure (nanofibres) in the cell having occurred”, the Smoltek stated.
