FEST to offer the first cascadable 5 MW PEM electrolyser from German production with the BOSCH PEM stacks

German FEST and Bosch have signed a framework agreement for cooperation at HANNOVER MESSE, the FEST announced. This agreement forms the basis for the integration of BOSCH PEM electrolysis stacks into FEST GmbH electrolysers.

BOSCH and FEST’s industrial experience form the technological basis for FEST GmbH’s highly efficient electrolysis plants in standardised container design.

Following the PEM electrolysers (gEL400/2 MW, gEL600/3 MW) that have already been put into operation several times internationally, FEST GmbH is now producing the first electrolyser to be supplied with integrated BOSCH PEM stacks in the 1.25 MW class.

As a result of a further development based on this, FEST will offer the gEL1000 with 5 MW output to the hydrogen market in the third quarter of this year – the first cascadable 5 MW PEM electrolyser from German production with German PEM stacks of the BOSCH brand. The aim is to create hydrogen capacities of up to 100 MW of electrical power.
