Norwegian Hydrogen has announced plans to develop hydrogen infrastructure in Norway

MAN Truck & Bus Norge AS premiered the hTGX, a groundbreaking hydrogen-powered truck, in Lillestrøm, Norway, the Norwegian Hydrogen reported. The event was a resounding success with around 100 industry professionals joining. 

As close collaboration partners for MAN and the truck owners, our CEO of Norwegian Hydrogen Jens Berge and Managing Director of VIREON Per Øyvind Voie presented plans for the rollout of hydrogen infrastructure in Norway and its critical role in achieving our ambitious climate goals, the company announced.

We were honored to have State Secretary Abel Cecilie Knibe Kroglund from the Norwegian Ministry of Transport share the government’s objectives, while industry experts provided insights into the development of hydrogen infrastructure, the company said. Customer representatives also highlighted the prerequisites for investing in this promising technology. 

MAN’s experts from Norway and Germany elaborated on MAN’s motivation and strategy for launching their hydrogen truck in Norway.
