GINAF Trucks is finalizing the company’s first hydrogen tractor unit

GINAF Trucks Nederland B.V. in Veenendaal, The Netherlands, is finalizing their first hydrogen tractor unit and in the coming year concrete mixers and tippers will be retrofitted to hydrogen fuelcell electric trucks,  Andre Molengraafe, the founder of H2storage, reported in his LinkedIn.

GINAF has been converting traditional vehicles into electric ones for several years. One can see numbers of different applications, like waste collecting truck, sweeper truck, tractor units and tippers on different brands.

Due to their modular way of building their battery electric trucks, it is a logical next step to build battery electric trucks with hydrogen as well.Especially in heavy duty truck applications and long whole transport hydrogen is the only way to go forward.
