Thiozen’ site successfully removes H₂S from a ‘sour’ gas stream and generates zero-emission hydrogen

Our pilot unit, commissioned at an ACT site in the Permian Basin, successfully removes H₂S from a ‘sour’ gas stream and generates zero-emission hydrogen, the  Thiozen announced. Industry has been striving to generate hydrogen from H₂S for over 100 years, and Thiozen is the first company ever to achieve this in-field, the Californian company stated.

The company spent months operating its pilot unit through the West Texas heat and cold, and it was worth it. This major milestone holds immense potential for revolutionizing the hydrogen production industry and decarbonizing the planet.
