SK E&S has commissioned the first liquid hydrogen fuelling station in South Korea. The facility was built in Gyeonggi-do Province and is operated by SK Plug Hyverse (Hyverse), a joint venture between SK E&S and US-based Plug Power.
The facility was built with the support of the South Korean Ministry of Environment. The facility has a liquid hydrogen storage tank, cryogenic pumps and two dispensers. With a capacity of 120kg/h, it can refuel approximately 6 buses with hydrogen per hour or 120 buses per day.
