The German city HAMM put hydrogen waste collection vehicles on the roads for the first time

“The two new ENGINIUS GmbH BLUEPOWER hydrogen waste collection vehicles from municipal company Abfallwirtschafts- und Stadtreinigungsbetrieb Hamm (ASH) are now on the road  of German Hamm”, the FAUN Group announced.

Hamm wants to establish itself as a regional hydrogen centre and the municipal company is backing the environmentally friendly technology.

“We are delighted that the city of Hamm is joining the circle of hydrogen pioneers and is on the road in favour of a climate-neutral transport sector. We wish you clean transport at all times,” said FAUN Group Managing Director Burkard Oppmann at the handover ceremony.
