Bluegame’s American Magic HSV Takes Flight with EODev

After 18 months of development, Bluegame has hit a big milestone! The team just completed sea trials on their BGH Chaseboat for the New York Yacht Club’s America’s Cup team, American Magic, the EODev announced.

This high-tech marvel runs on hydrogen power with two 80kW REXH2s fuel cell systems combined with 3 batteries storing over 180kWh. It’s a 10m carbon fiber catamaran that takes off around at 22 knots, cruises at 35 knots, and can even hit 50 knots at full power. Plus, it can travel over 150 nautical miles at cruising speed!

Congratulations to Bluegame and all the teams behind the project for reaching this milestone. We now look forward to seeing the HSV in flight behind the AC75s in Barcelona from end August 2024.
