Spain government publishes the regulatory bases to allocate 1.2 billion to large valleys of renewable hydrogen

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has launched the order of bases of the aid programme for the creation of large renewable hydrogen valleys and clusters. 

The programme, which will be managed by the IDAE and will allocate €1.2 billion from the NextGenEU funds, seeks to support large-scale projects with more than 100 MW of electrolysis capacity and a prior commitment of 60% to purchase the renewable hydrogen produced.
