As part of the Next Mobility Accelerator Consortium, we have jointly solved the ‘chicken and egg’ problem and reached another important milestone: the acquisition of our first hydrogen lorry, the Maier & Korduletsch Gruppe (headquartered in Vilshofen, Bayer) announced.
The new hydrogen lorry will be used in company’s logistics unit for general cargo transport, in particular for the delivery of lubricants in bulk and packed form. Before the official handover, drivers received comprehensive theoretical and practical training from the Paul Group Academy to enable them to use the lorry safely and efficiently.
The Next Mobility Accelerator Consortium is pursuing the goal of clean logistics with hydrogen. In this strategic alliance, the Paul, Maier-Korduletsch and Shell groups are pooling their expertise to create a regional, scalable value chain for H2 trucks in the 12-24 tonne class, from hydrogen production to the production of H2 trucks.
