All Creo International’s tank will be coated hydrogen embrittlement-resistant coating beginning from 2025

At Creo International, we’re excited to unveil our newly manufactured 35 Bar 1000L test tank, which will soon be coated with our advanced hydrogen embrittlement-resistant coating as part of the final stages of testing. This breakthrough solution, developed alongside our incredible partners at UKRI, Swansea University, and Ledwood, marks a critical leap in our mission to ensure the longevity and safety of hydrogen storage and transport systems.

This state-of-the-art coating not only prevents embrittlement in dedicated hydrogen storage tanks but also opens the door for existing gas pipelines to be repurposed to safely carry hydrogen, accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Starting in 2025, all newly manufactured Creo hydrogen storage tanks will come equipped with this cutting-edge coating, strengthening hydrogen infrastructure across the industry.
