Hydrogen truck maker ENGINIUS has signed a contract with Daimler Truck AG

By signing an agreement with prospective buyers, ENGINIUS and Daimler Truck AG are sending a strong signal for an emission-free transport sector, the ENGINIUS announced. Part of the cooperation is the placement of prospective customers for the ENGINIUS CITYPOWER models by the Mercedes Benz Truck Team’s own sales team in Germany. “We are convinced that we will benefit greatly from the synergy effects of working together,” said Burkard Oppmann, Managing Director of the FAUN Group and CSO of ENGINIUS GmbH, during the signing of the contract. The partnership opens up new opportunities for ENGINIUS to offer its emission-free CITYPOWER trucks for the medium-duty class as battery electric (BEV) or fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) variants to a broader customer base.
