Air Liquide will start supplying hydrogen from the Normandy plant under construction to HysetCo

HysetCo and Air Liquide announce a contract for the supply of renewable hydrogen. This contract marks a key step in the decarbonisation of transport in the Île-de-France’s transition to low-carbon mobility, thanks to renewable hydrogen, the companies stated. This long-term agreement covers the supply of renewable hydrogen for part of the network of HysetCo hydrogen distribution stations in the Paris region. The renewable hydrogen will be produced by Air Liquide Normand’Hy, one of the largest electrolyser projects under construction in France. Ultimately, this contract could represent up to 3,000 tonnes of hydrogen a year.

Air Liquide Normand’Hy aims to build an electrolyzer of at least 200 MW in the industrial zone of Port-Jérôme in Normandy for the production of renewable hydrogen in France.
