The French Ministry of Finance has announced that it has selected the winners of three industrial projects, one of which is a hydrogen import terminal to be built at the state-run port of Le Havre. The project, worth an estimated 1.1 billion euros, is proposed by Air Products.
In July this year Air Products announced that it had signed a contract with TotalEnergies for the annual supply in Europe of 70,000 tons of green hydrogen starting in 2030. This first long-term deal follows TotalEnergies‘ call for tenders for the supply of 500,000 tons per year of green hydrogen to decarbonise TotalEnergies’ European refineries.
