PowerCell Group Secures Aviation Project Order from Japanese Company

PowerCell has received a project order from a Japanese company valued at approximately €1.15 million. The project will run from Q4 2024 to Q1 2026 and entails PowerCell providing engineering expertise and supplying their next-generation fuel cell stack, the HDS300.

“This order is another important step in developing and commercialising our new HDS300 stack platform for the aviation sector. Fuel cells hold immense promise for revolutionising the aviation industry by decarbonising everything from small passenger aircraft to regional and commuter flights. The potential of the HDS300 is only beginning to unfold and we are confident that this technology will play a central role in shaping the future of aviation. We’re excited to see the growing demand for electrified solutions, particularly in Asia, where the need for clean energy alternatives is accelerating,” said Richard Berkling, CEO of PowerCell Group.
