FEST GmbH deliveries the second part ABO Energy’s electrolysis plant for the hydrogen project in Michels-Rombach

The second part of our partner ABO Energy’s electrolysis plant for the hydrogen project in Michels-Rombach was delivered on schedule, the FEST GmbH reported. The first module was transported and installed weeks ago. Assembly and commissioning will now follow at the beginning of next year. The project marks an important step towards a sustainable energy future, as hydrogen is central to the energy transition: It enables CO₂ reduction, energy storage and the decarbonisation of industry and transport.

The project in Hesse:

– Wind energy plant

– Electrolyser and hydrogen refuelling station

– Two electrolysis systems (5 MW) efficiently convert wind power into green hydrogen

– Largest plant in Germany that couples wind energy directly with electrolysis

– Start summer 2025, promotion of emission-free fuel cell trucks.
