AFC Energy launches the 2nd Generation H-Power S+ 200kW generator

“We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2nd Generation H-Power S+ 200kW generator”, the AFC reported in its LinkedIn.

“The 2nd Generation S+ 200kW unit is tailored for application in Construction and Off-Grid Power where we see an earlier pathway to volume adoption and has built on the successes and learnings from our 1st Generation prototype developed and supported by ABB.

The H-Power S+ 200kW Genset is now smaller, lighter, more portable, and significantly lower cost, serving to decrease barriers to adoption as our market evolves. Under the Red Diesel Replacement Grant, we’ve delivered a unit that is:

34% smaller, 28% lighter, and 65% lower cost.

The unit is moving shortly to the first field deployment with our partner, Brett Aggregates, under the Red Diesel Grant where it will be used to power facility operations at one of the Brett Aggregates sites”.
