FEST GmbH awarded the contract for 3 electrolysis systems for “Green Hydrogen Hub Stuttgart”

FEST GmbH announced that it has been awarded the contract for the delivery, installation and commissioning of 3 integrated gEL600 electrolysis systems for the groundbreaking “Green Hydrogen Hub Stuttgart” (GH2S) project.

With this project, Stadtwerke Stuttgart GmbH is implementing a major production site for green hydrogen at the Neckarhafen. From here, the supply of hydrogen consumers in Stuttgart and the entire region is ensured by means of transport storage and a pipeline.

The gEL600 from FEST, a tried and tested, standardized, containerized electrolysis system in the 3 MW size class, includes all subsystems for the production of high-purity hydrogen from drinking water as well as medium-voltage and 400V connections.

All main components are fully pre-assembled and tested in company’s production facility before they are delivered to the installation site, installed on site and put into operation. In addition, FEST will ensure the maintenance of the systems as part of a maintenance contract for Stadtwerke Stuttgart.
