Jolt wins $10M grant for hydrogen projects in Chile 

Jolt Activated Electrodes announced that it has been awarded a $10M grant from Chilean government agency Corfo to build an automatic manufacturing line for alkaline electrodes and other auxiliary systems.

Out of 30 applicants only 3 projects were selected; Jolt Activated Electrodes, Hygreen Energy and Guofu (Guofuhee) were awarded grants.

Jolt Activated Electrodes plans to support Chile and the rest of Latin America’s planned green hydrogen industry. Chile has abundant solar and wind resources & is uniquely positioned to produce low cost green hydrogen. Because of this Chile is actively pursuing green hydrogen development with a US$1 billion fund, aiming to become a major exporter and a leader in the global green hydrogen market.
