Fortum and P2X Solutions have signed a sales agreement for green hydrogen. P2X Solutions will purchase hydrogen from Fortum’s 2-MW Kalla test center and distribute it further to its customers.
This partnership aims to enhance green hydrogen logistics in Finland and support the transition to a low-carbon future. Fortum’s test center Kalla in Loviisa, Finland is expected to commence commercial operations in the first half of 2026.

This collaboration allows efficient hydrogen delivery from Kalla test facility.”
Herkko Plit, CEO of P2X Solutions, added, “As a forerunner in green hydrogen, P2X Solutions is well positioned to boost Finland’s hydrogen economy by developing hydrogen distribution also with other operators.
