On behalf of regional utility ENTEGA AG, FEST is taking on the complete implementation of an innovative hydrogen project at the Darmstadt waste-to-energy plant. At the heart of the plant is a powerful 3 MW electrolyser, supplemented by a trailer filling station that makes the green hydrogen produced flexibly available in the region and is to be used initially for mobility applications in particular from 2027 onwards.
As an experienced technology partner, FEST is responsible for the complete system integration – from planning and implementation to commissioning.
‘We are delighted to have ENTEGA as a strong partner at our side, who, like us, is actively driving forward the energy transition,’ says Pascal Pewinski, Vice President Sales and Business Development at FEST. ‘This project shows how modern hydrogen technology can be meaningfully integrated into existing structures – and how FEST, as a system provider, is making a significant contribution to its implementation.’
