Guttroff held a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for the hydrogen project at the Dettelbach site

Guttroff’s green hydrogen production will include a 5 MW electrolyzer from partner ITM Power, a compressor line, a hydrogen storage facility, four trailer refueling stations, and a public hydrogen filling station for trucks, cars, and buses when production starts in May 2026.

Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger commented on Guttroff’s green hydrogen production: “The hydrogen project in Dettelbach covers the entire value chain. The hydrogen produced can be made available directly to the mobility sector via the on-site filling station and sold through Guttroff GmbH’s existing sales network. Even the waste heat from the electrolyzer will be utilized.”
