AFC Energy has delivered a 200-kilowatt liquid-cooled fuel cell generator to power the world’s first series of hydrogen races

The AFC Energy’s flagship 200 kW Liquid Cooled Fuel Cell – H‑Power 200™ is heading to Riyadh to power the future of motorsport – Extreme H, the world’s first hydrogen racing series.

Engineered for the demands of high-performance off-road racing, the H‑Power 200™ delivers:

High-spec cooling – optimised for the extreme heat and climate of Riyadh

High power density – designed for seamless integration with local renewable microgrids

High efficiency – offering low hydrogen consumption and extended runtime

The system is being delivered to our long-term partner TAMGO – The Machinery Group LLC., who will deploy it as part of their wider clean energy offering in the region to support the Extreme H hydrogen racing series.

This deployment follows the successful use of our fuel cells in the first two seasons of Extreme E, the championship series for fully electric off-road vehicles.
