At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Nanni, a leading marine engine manufacturer, EODev and its subsidiary EVE System, specialists in hydrogen and battery-based decarbonized energy solutions, announced a strategic collaboration.
Their goal: to offer shipyards, operators, and yacht owners a new generation of hybrid and zero-emission solutions, designed for both superyachts and professional vessels.
This collaboration is part of a broader strategy of pooling expertise and scaling up production volumes, essential to accelerate industrialization and improve the competitiveness of new technologies. It illustrates the importance of cooperation among maritime stakeholders in addressing the challenges of the energy transition.
A complete range of solutions for yachting and professional vessels Together, the partners are working on solutions that cover a wide range of needs:
•
“All-in-one” hotel load systems, combining energy storage, hybrid gensets (diesel/HVO), and smart management modes to reduce noise and emissions at anchor or underway.
Zero-emission hydrogen systems, featuring the integration of EODev’s type- approved marine fuell cell system REXH2®.
Port infrastructure solutions, including marinized hydrogen fuel cell generators and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to power yachts at berth, terminals, and port services without emissions.
The addition of a marinized battery pack also opens new opportunities for yacht owners and skippers: enhanced comfort, noise reduction, smart onboard energy management, and silent operation both at anchor and underway.
