Genevos brings mature, fully integrated marine certified hydrogen fuel cell power solutions, ranging from compact low power solutions with their HPM-40 kW to high-power solutions such as the HPM-250 kW. The modular, plug-and-play nature of Genevos’ solutions ensures rapid integration with minimal disruption.
This LOI affirms the shared commitment of both organisations to decarbonise maritime transport through hydrogen deployment. Genevos’ proven track record spanning collaborations with European ports, award-winning zero emission systems, and recognition from class societies positions the company as an ideal technology partner.
The scope of collaboration will span across multiple vessel types from harbour and coastal workboats (pilot vessel, tugboats etc.) to passenger ferries and potentially light cargo vessels, tailored for Indian maritime environments. The immediate next steps include feasibility studies, technical design, and pilot deployments as of 2026, with multiple vessels as of 2027.
