Air Product Europe transported the first large prefabricated modules of the HyCO4 hydrogen production plant in Rotterdam

A key milestone for our CO₂ capture installation at the HyCO4 hydrogen production plant in Rotterdam has been achieved, the Air Product Europe announced in its LinkedIn.

The first large prefabricated modules arrived by charter vessel, were offloaded in the Port of Rotterdam, and transported to the ExxonMobil refinery site. Using a roll-on/roll-off pier and SPMT transport, the modules were carefully moved across the site to our construction area.

Coordinating the offloading, lifting, transport, and installation required detailed planning and strong teamwork across multiple partners, and was executed on a tight schedule.Another great step forward in enabling CO₂ reduction through the Porthos system.
