Toyota Tsusho Nexty Electronics Europe GmbH has signed a comprehensive supplier contract for Toyota fuel cells with pepper motion GmbH.The Toyota fuel cell is the basis of the hydrogen version of the pepper kit and is now being used for an initial 25 hydrogen trucks based on the Mercedes Benz Atego. These are currently being put into operation by Paul Nutzfahrzeuge.
In concluding the contract, Mr. Kakihara, President of Nexty Electronics Corporation, explained, “We are delighted to co-work with pepper motion as a highly qualified expert in the development of innovative electric drive systems in the commercial vehicle sector above 7.5 t.”
